Jill's birthday had a retro flair, where everyone wore a mix of 70s and 80s fashion: colorful glasses, bohemian and psychedelic prints and patterns, and glitter tees. Their youthful and lively spirit was definitely visible, and it paired wonderfully with the retro theme.
As we cruised past one of the iconic US Navy ships, everyone raised their glasses in celebration of the birthday girl.
When seeing these youngsters embrace the party with such enthusiasm, carefully organizing their event settings and spirit to make sure it will be memorable, it reminded me of my own earlier years.
