Brooke's birthday party was marked by some of San Diego's maritime wonders, the majestic Star of India ship which was anchored in the background, and the colossal Coronado Bay Bridge, around which sailing becomes a much more exciting experience. On top of the local attractions, the few sailboats, which we passed by along our route added that "maritime experience" touch to Brooke and her friends' party that day.
It was lovely seeing them raise their glasses in a sincere toast against the urban view and the bright blue sky that blessed us that day!
