Our beloved Bella Luna set the stage for Aiyoka's event. Taken right at the dock, we had an amazing picture that captured everyone's excitement and energy of the moment before we set sail on our cruise. For the rest of our journey, the surrounding waters were alive with sailboats and local wildlife.
We captured some fantastic images of Aiyoka toasting against the cityscape and another at the helm, but the best shot we got was near the Naval Base, where we spotted the impressive USNS Mercy along with a warship docked in the distance. This 894 feet long hospital ship is famed for its global humanitarian missions and disaster relief efforts, and it is representative of San Diego's maritime culture.
